I am the oldest of three siblings, and proud to be part of the largest growing segment of the American population called Baby Boomers. 

My father was a retired Army officer, as is my husband, John, so I guess that makes me a member in good standing of the Army Brats & Brides Club! 

We are empty-nesters with two really cute "kids" (the 4-legged variety). 

Ricky is a buff-colored Cocker Spaniel who has retired from the competitive world of dog shows, and Max is a black English Cocker that we rescued from a shelter. The "boys" get along famously, and have us well trained! 

Generally speaking, you could pretty much call me a “city girl.” In fact, my idea of experiencing the great outdoors is the open-air lobby at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort! 

We lived in Scottsdale at the time, and were lucky enough to be able to attend all four of the World Series home games. The day the Diamondbacks won the World Series was pure pandemonium!
